You know better than anyone how to keep an operation running smoothly. As a Logistics Teamlead (No dutch recquired), you are responsible for one of the logistics departments within an advanced warehouse and ensure that processes run efficiently. You lead your team, monitor KPIs and always maintain an overview, even when pressure increases. At your new employer in the Hoeksche Waard region, you will work in an international and highly automated environment where data and performance are key. This role is suited for someone who takes ownership, stands firm, and makes a difference both on the warehouse floor and beyond.
Wat ga je doen?
With your leadership skills and sharp eye for processes, you bring structure, results and development to your team. You are visible on the warehouse floor and continuously switch between daily operations and process improvement. Your responsibilities as a Logistics Teamlead include:
Managing a team of 15 to 40 warehouse employees;
Achieving and monitoring daily KPIs and operational targets;
Analyzing results and making adjustments where necessary;
Leading daily start-up meetings and setting clear priorities;
Creating staffing schedules in collaboration with Workforce Planning;
Initiating and implementing process improvements;
Coaching and developing team members.
Wat breng je mee?
You are a natural leader with a strong sense of responsibility. You maintain oversight, make decisions, and know how to motivate people. As a Logistics Teamlead, it is important that you have strong communication skills, adopt a coaching leadership style towards colleagues, and are willing to work in shifts. Working hours are from 06:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 00:00. Additionally, you should be willing to occasionally work a Saturday morning shift.
You also bring the following:
Mbo+ education;
At least 1 year of experience as a Logistics Team Leader or several years as an Assistant Team Leader;
Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment;
Knowledge of systems such as SAP, WMS or other ERP systems.
